BEES

I pretended to be David Attenborough and researched some facts about bees! I enjoyed doing this.

honey bees are important for flowers fruits and vegetables this means that they help other plants grow! Bees live in hives one Queen runs the hive she lays the eggs. The workers are all female and they get their food and builds hives. their are drones and they are male making new bees. Bees are famous for making Honey. they make so much that we get to eat some too.if the queen bee dies workers will make a new queen by feeding a baby bee royal jelly. Bees can fly at 25km per hour. They have a great sens of smel. Worker bees live between 5 and 6 weeks, the queen can live for 5 years. Sadly bees have been disappearing and no one knows why. We need to protect bees so flowers continue to grow.
